About the hub
The voice that carries the mission
Guardian Angels Enterprises, L3C exists so that the work of four entities sounds like one promise — and so that no rural veteran's story goes untold, no volunteer goes unasked, and no injustice goes unspoken.
Our mission
Why a communications hub exists at all
The Lighthouse ecosystem's mission is to serve as a force multiplier connecting rural veterans and their families to earned benefits, transitional housing, and sustainable economic opportunity. But a service no one hears about serves no one. In rural Louisiana, where support networks are sparse and 65% of veterans report difficulty navigating resources (versus 46% of veterans overall), the gap between "help exists" and "help arrives" is very often an information gap.
Guardian Angels Enterprises closes that gap. We are the ecosystem's dedicated hub for advocacy, volunteer mobilization, and communications — the entity whose whole job is making sure rural veterans know what they have earned, families know where to turn, volunteers know where they are needed, and the public knows what is at stake.
And because remembering is part of serving, we also steward the Guardian Light Veterans Legacy Memorial — the ecosystem's living memorial to veterans whose service still lights the way.
We advocate
A nonpartisan, veteran-centered voice that carries rural realities to coalitions, partners, and decision-makers.
We mobilize
Volunteers recruited, trained, and deployed across every entity and program in the ecosystem.
We communicate
Website, app, podcast, bot, newsletter, blog, and social media — one integrated engine.
We remember
The Guardian Light Memorial preserves stories, honors families, and turns legacy into living impact.
Our structure
The L3C: a mission-first, low-profit company
Guardian Angels Enterprises is organized as an L3C — a low-profit limited liability company. It is a deliberate choice, not a technicality.
Charitable purpose first
An L3C is legally required to significantly further a charitable or educational purpose. Income and asset growth are permitted but must remain secondary. Our charter binds us to the rural-veteran mission the same way a nonprofit's does — while keeping the operating agility of an LLC.
Built for mission investment
The L3C form was designed to receive program-related investments and mission-aligned capital alongside earned revenue — sponsorships, communications underwriting, and media services. That blend keeps the voice of the ecosystem funded without leaning on any single source.
The right tool per entity
The ecosystem deliberately pairs legal forms to functions: a 501(c)(3)-aligned CDC for housing and direct services, a foundation for philanthropy, and L3Cs — EEC and Guardian Angels — where social enterprise and mission must operate side by side, accountably.
From the Strategic Communications Plan
Why communications is a force multiplier
The ecosystem's Strategic Communications Plan — spanning EEC, LCDC, and NetWIRCing Solutions — calls for an integrated, multi-channel "surround sound" strategy. Guardian Angels is where that plan lives and breathes.
One message, every channel
Each platform reinforces the others. A website article on housing resources is supplemented by an app notification and a related podcast interview with a housing expert. Program deadlines appear in the newsletter, on social channels, and in the bot's answers — the same week, in the same voice. Consistency is not cosmetic; for a veteran hearing about a benefit for the first time, repetition across trusted channels is what turns awareness into action.
Coordinated, not duplicated
Because one hub runs communications for the whole ecosystem, EEC's bootcamps, LCDC's housing pathway, RV3's giving campaigns, and the M-TOC's outreach calendar all speak with one visual identity and one editorial standard. Partners see a coordinated network instead of four competing letterheads — and every dollar spent on outreach works four times.
Measured like a program
The plan holds communications to program-grade metrics: website visitors, sign-up conversions, and referral click-throughs; app installs, active users, and retention; podcast episodes, listens, and completion rates — all crosswalked to the outcomes that matter: veterans engaged, veterans enrolled, referrals completed. If the message isn't moving veterans toward services, we change the message.
Rooted in rural best practice
Rural outreach works when it is local, trusted, and peer-led. We partner with local veteran organizations to build trust, prioritize virtual channels where broadband allows and physical presence where it doesn't, and center content that reflects veterans' own experiences — because podcasts hosted by veterans "give veterans a voice," and bringing veterans to veterans is the best rehabilitation.
Audience segments
Who we speak to
The Strategic Communications Plan names our audiences precisely — because inclusive, authentic messaging starts with knowing who is listening.
Disabled veterans
Accessible-first content, plain-language benefits guidance, and channels that don't assume mobility or bandwidth.
Women veterans
Representation in stories and programming, with specialized content developed alongside partners serving women veterans.
Veterans' dependents & survivors
Families navigating benefits, education, and survivorship — often the first to reach out, always part of the mission.
Veterans experiencing housing insecurity
Direct, dignified pathways to LCDC's housing programs and the M-TOC's front-door triage.
Veteran service providers
Referral partners who need clear program information, warm hand-off channels, and coalition updates.
Community stakeholders
Local leaders, funders, and neighbors whose trust and participation make rural programs possible.
Siloed but connected
Our place among four entities
Each entity keeps its own lane; the mission connects them all. Guardian Angels is the lane where stories, volunteers, and advocacy travel.
Eagle Enterprises Consortium, L3C — the umbrella
EEC coordinates the network, aligns mission with sustainable social enterprise, and maintains accountability across the ecosystem. Guardian Angels executes EEC's communications strategy and staffs its outreach with volunteers.
Lighthouse CDC — the services arm
LCDC delivers transitional housing pathways, benefits navigation, and coordinated direct services. We drive awareness and referrals toward LCDC's front door — and recruit the volunteer capacity its programs depend on.
RV3 Foundation — the philanthropic arm
RV3 honors service and channels donor and grant support to rural veteran programs. Our storytelling gives that generosity a face; our memorial stewardship gives it a legacy.
Guardian Angels Enterprises, L3C — the voice
Advocacy out. Volunteers in. Communications everywhere. Intake and services flow through our siblings; visibility, mobilization, and remembrance flow through us.
Our ethos
Service, honor, legacy.
Service — we show up, in person, where rural veterans actually live. Honor — we speak of veterans and their families with dignity, always. Legacy — we make sure sacrifice is not forgotten and stories are not lost.
